The water was dripping down, and this was meant to represent time and how it can slip through your fingers. The sand represents... not being able to hold onto it forever.
"Our ideas held no water but we use them like a dam," Was the lyric [that inspired this piece]. The light bulb represents an archetype of when a lightbulb goes off in your head. I used corn syrup to drip off of the bulb.
I continued the theme of the light bulb but it was turned on so it felt like i had figured it out. I did multiple views of the lamp. They stripes were different apetures so it wouldnt be washed out.”
The lyric is "shake shake shake shake shake." The blender represented shaking, and I used images from the previous photos to continue my theme. All of the previous images were being shaken up.
The shadows are sun coming through blinds, It was a filler because I needed a 5th picture but I really liked how it came out and i think it came along well with the mood.
